Before you go
Do I need to book?
Weekdays, no — walk in. Friday and Saturday after 22:00 are the peak, and popular venues queue at the door. Message us first and we hold a slot.
Is it odd to go alone?
No. Single guests are the majority. The lounge and dining are laid out so one person can sit comfortably.
I don't speak Cantonese — is that a problem?
No. Front desks handle Mandarin, and the larger venues English. Booking through us, your requirements are already agreed, so you just give your name.
What should I bring?
Photo ID — nobody under 18 is admitted. Everything else is provided, and bags can be left at reception.
What time is best?
For quiet and price, 15:00–19:00. For the full selection and any show, after 21:00.
Prices and payment
Is the entry price the final price?
No. Entry is the lowest tier; the tier you pick is the main cost, and the service charge is applied on top. What we quote is the total with the charge already in.
How is the service charge calculated?
Three ways: included, +10%, or 5% + 5%. On a 2,000 bill the first is 2,000 and the other two are 2,200. Full comparison in the pricing guide.
How much is an extension?
By the hour, MOP 300–800 depending on the venue. Ask whether “one hour” is 60 minutes or 45.
Can I pay by card?
Most take cash and cards, some take Alipay or WeChat Pay. A few are cash only — ask before you commit.
Is tipping expected?
No. The service charge is already on the bill. Extra is voluntary and nobody will press you.
Practical
Is the transfer really free?
Yes, both ways on the Peninsula and in Cotai, including the Border Gate, Outer Harbour and Taipa ferry terminals. Ten minutes' notice is enough.
Can I stay overnight?
Eight of the ten allow it. The Excellent Sauna and Manhao Spa do not. Usually a fee for a lounge recliner, or an hourly charge for a room.
Are there female guests?
Some venues run ladies' hours or a separate area, but not all — ask before you go.
What happens in a typhoon?
At signal 8 or above most suspend service or run a skeleton operation. Ask before you set off.
Where do I leave luggage?
Reception will hold it, including large cases. Collect it on the way out.
